Gray hair with advanced Male Pattern Baldness

71 year old male with gray hair and advanced MPB. This patient had been thinning for quite a long time, but had realized recently that he was no longer happy with his appearance. This was most likely because he had gotten so thin, that he had lost the “frame” to his face. The challenge in individuals with gray hair is to preserve the integrity of the follicles, despite the difficulty in visualization during dissection; poor growth may be the result if exceptional care is not taken. Only five months after a surgery of 2138FU, he had excellent growth and a hairline with which he was very satisfied.
