Patient Photos & Stories » Male Hair Transplant » Two surgeries to frontal two thirds and midscalp
43 year old male with advanced MPB. The plan included at least two surgeries to treat the frontal 2/3 of the scalp, including the future areas of the loss. The first surgery to the frontal region was performed utilizing 2618FU. His coarse, wiry black hair and pale complexion made it more challenging to achieve a very natural appearing hairline. The recommendation was to wait 9 months until having a second surgery, so that the front could be assessed at that time, but the patient was very happy at six months and eager to proceed. The midscalp was treated bringing the total number of FU in the two surgeries to 4963. The posterior view shows the natural irregularities bordering the vertex which help minimize the size of the “bald spot” and also finish the transplant in a natural manner.
