Young woman with very severe thinning frontally and part-line

Severe frontal hair loss in this 37 year old woman had become very problematic. The surgical plan was discussed at length to determine the area of greatest cosmetic significance. An L-shaped pattern was chosen to thicken the central frontal hairline and the anterior part-line. Her donor area was of average density and yielded 1889FU. The post-operative photos show the patient 9 months later. A significant improvement in density is evident and her area of greatest concern is less problematic. She was also referred to an endocrinologist for evaluation of possible hormone disorder.
